Niku Oksala is a professor of surgery (especially vascular surgery) and a chief vascular surgeon at University of Tampere and Tampere University Hospital. He is developing novel surgical technology and noninvasive sensor technology for the diagnosis of diseases and for the monitoring of patient vital signs and for the improvement of patient safety.
