"Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly significant role in medical research and health technologies", says professor Simo Särkkä from Aalto University, and a board member of the Instrumentarium Science Foundation.
The Science Foundation will distribute €1.5 million in grants this year for research in medicine, natural sciences, and health technology. A total of 34 researchers or research groups will receive funding.
